Benoit

Born and raised in the Chamonix valley, Benoit is passionate about the world of skateboarding and has been shredding for over 18 years. In 2020 he qualified as a state certified sports instructor in the discipline and is actively involved in developing the skate community in Chamonix. He is president of the "Chamois Skate Brigade", (established in 2014) an association focused on promoting the sport in and around the valley. Some of their projects involve co-organising the Cuda Jam, the annual skateboarding contest and developing the infrastructure available (see 2020 skatepark extension) hand in hand with the local council.

Maximilien

Maximilien is 29 years old and has a few less teeth. He was born with skis on his feet in a small village facing the Aiguille du Midi and has been skating since he was 11. Since he was 18, he has devoted his time to riding, filming, building spots and passing on his passion in Europe and elsewhere. Holder of the CQP Skateboard since 2020, he is involved in local (Dib74, Hang-up, Sk8therapy) and international (SkatePal, Make Life Skate Life, Wonders Around the World) organizations to develop the practice and culture of skateboarding in Europe but also in developing countries (Palestine, Ethiopia, Morocco,...) either by teaching it or by building skateparks.

Olivia

Olivia was born and bred in Chamonix. Today, as head of a small family, this devoted mum and dance enthusiast spends her life at the skatepark watching her two children skate and applauding them! Too afraid of hurting herself, she refuses to get on a skateboard, but she loves the Chamonix skateboarding scene, its values and what it brings to her children. So it was natural that she found her place in the park, as a spectator and above all as a volunteer at the Mo Skate Club!

Alice

Alice is 19 years old and a newbie from Sweden. She loves boarding. She did her first season in the italian alps at the age of 12. She tried surfing in Cornwall, Sri Lanka and Biarritz. Her dad bought her first skateboard before she was even born, but she didn’t start riding until she was 14 year old. She then started coaching at 15 at the girl skate, beginners skate and all the summer camps. Now she works mostly with Skate Nation, an initiative to welcome and integrate refugees through skateboarding. She came to Chamonix for snowboarding but is now staying for skateboarding. She wants to experience the skate scene in Chamonix and make a camp and a girls session here too. By the way she speaks swedish, english, italian and is now learning french.
